Douglas “Doug” Drinnon

Douglas “Doug” Drinnon, 73, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida. He was a member of Statem Gap Baptist Church. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict and the Army Reserves during Desert Storm.

Doug is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley Drinnon; children, Gina (Michael) Buell, Sean (Virginia) Drinnon and Shannon Drinnon; and grandchildren, Jeremy Burnette, Gage Burnette, Michelle McNabb, Skyler McNabb, and Brayden Drinnon.

The family will receive friends 1 – 5 p.m., Saturday, September 26 in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet 11:45 a.m., Sunday, September 27 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a noon graveside service with Rev. Benny Jones officiating. VFW Post #5266 will provide military honors.
