Darvin Coy Gibbons, 69, of Talbott, passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at his home.

Darvin was of the Christian faith and previously served as a deacon at Westside Christian Church in Morristown. He retired from General Electric in 2006 after several years of employment.

Darvin was a talented and unique man who could do pretty much anything he set his mind to do. He enjoyed history, genealogy, fishing, and searching for arrowheads and Native American artifacts as a younger man.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Coy Gibbons and Lucille Gibbons, as well as his older brother, Michael Gibbons.

He is survived by his sons, Todd Gibbons and Link (Krystal) Gibbons; former wife, Gail Mays; former wife, Patty Gibbons; sister-in-law, Phyllis Gibbons; nieces, Jennifer (Michel) Conyac and Amber (Ted) Frynkewicz; as well as several extended family members.

There will be a graveside service 1 p.m. Thursday, April 8 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
