Daniel Lishin

Daniel Lishin, 74, of Rutledge, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at his home. He was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church in White Pine. He retired from New Market Elementary School as a music teacher. He was a chaplain for Bean Station Police Department and served in Germany during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Candace McCann; children, Anthony Bennett of Rutledge, and Kristin (Michael) McAlley of Johnson City; and grandchildren, Haeleigh and Mathew McAlley.

The family expresses their gratitude for all the kind words, prayers and help that everyone showed during Daniel’s illness.

A memorial service is planned for a later date.
