Bruce Lester Mullins

Bruce Lester Mullins, 77, of Rutledge, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 5, 2021 after a battle with cancer. He was a long-time member and deacon of New Corinth Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ted Mullins and Dolly Mullins White.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Norma Mullins; daughters and sons-in-law, Pam (Keith) Scott and Debbie (Greg) Gibson; grandchildren, Lynn (Ryane) Webb, Ryan Scott and Joshua Gibson; great-grandchildren, Sophia Webb, Abby Webb, Hayston Graves and Joshua Gibson; sister, Rosa Bailey; several nieces and nephews; loving church family; and coworkers at Stokes Electric.

Friends and family may pay their respects noon – 5 p.m., Tuesday, March 9 at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge. The family will receive friends 5 – 7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. with Brian Collins and Joshua Gibson officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 10 at New Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family requests anyone attending the services to practice protocol for facemasks and distancing.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International or the New Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
