Bobby Eugene Lovin, 74, of Mooresburg, went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

Bobby accepted Jesus as his Savior in his 20s. He was an ordained minister and preached for 39 years. Bobby was a member of Old Spruce Pine Missionary Baptist Church.

He met the love of his life, Kay Lovin, whom he married in 1969.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Southerland; children, Debra Kay Lovin and Russel Eugene Lovin; and grandfather, Tilman Lovin.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Kay Lovin; sons, Wayne Lovin and Keith Lovin; grandchildren, Kaylyn Lovin, Xander Lovin and Christian Presley; brother, Homer Lovin; and aunt, Blanch Bell.

The family of Bobby extends their sincere thanks to the University of Tennessee Medical Center doctors and nurses.

The family will receive friends 5 – 7 p.m., Friday, April 9 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Bill Johnson officiating. Graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, April 10 in Lovin Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend the graveside service is asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:45 a.m.

Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Lovin, Keith Lovin, Xander Lovin, Christian Presley, Robert France and David Moore; with Michael France as an honorary pallbearer.
