Betty H. Wheeler

Betty H. May Wheeler, 86 of Talbott, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 22, 2020.

She was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church and was saved at an early age. Betty was the daughter of the late Eugene and Grace Hill.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara (R.T.) Owens, Brenda Martin, Joyce (Charlie) Blaylock, and Janice (Dalton) McMillan; grandchildren, Laura (Gary) Reed, Patty (Shane) Ball, Rosie Cross, Christopher Martin, Aaron Martin, and Zackary Blaylock; great-grandchildren, Anna Reed, Emily Ball, Lakin Ball, and Jase Martin; sister, Nannie (Dan) Robbins; brother, Fain (Ruby) Hill; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Alder Funeral Home. Family and friends will then meet at Lebanon Baptist Church Friday, October 30, 2020 for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. To follow Hamblen County Covid-19 protocol, we do ask that you please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lebanon Baptist Church Building Fund in Betty’s memory.
