Aaron “Wildman” Lawson

Aaron “Wildman” Lawson, 62, of Whitesburg, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He retired from GE after 40-plus years of service. He attended Thankful Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy Shields Lawson and Helen Greene Lawson; and brother, Ronald Lawson.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Wanda Lawson; children, Adam Lawson and Amanda (Jason) Kelly; stepson, Michael Williams; grandchildren, Jakob and Nickolas Kelly, Maya, Avis, Aaron, and Miles and Hunter Lawson; brother, Jarrett (Judy) Lawson; sister, Sheila (Clark) Surrette; several nieces, nephews; and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5 – 7 p.m., Saturday, August 22 at Alder Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Barry Warren officiating.

Per CDC requirements and order of the Hamblen County mayor the family will observe social distancing and masks are recommended.
