For the 19th consecutive year, the Tennessee Valley Traders and Collectors Club and the Morristown Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual fall show and sale event at the Talley Ward Recreation Center at 324 South James Street, located in front of Morristown East High School.
The show will be Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event has become a tradition where buyers and sellers meet to stock or sell their vintage wares twice a year. The spring event was held in late March.
Presented by Bill Henderson Shows, 75 tables are scheduled to participate in the show. The event will feature a wide variety of antiques, including bottles, glass, fruit jars, coal mine tokens, old coins, arrowheads, license plates, political signs, post cards, old toys, classic photos and other collectibles for buy, sale or trade.
“The Parks Department makes about $500 at each show to be used for programs,” Henderson said.
Admission and parking will be free at the fall show, as well as free appraisals of vintage items brought to the vendors.
