According to information obtained from Church Hill Police Chief Chad Mosley, officers Dustin Dean and Ethan Mays responded to a suspicious vehicle on Justin Street. Both officers noticed that the vehicle was running with one person in the driver’s seat, wearing a mask that was partially concealed and a handgun between his seat and center console. A second man was lying down in the back seat. Both men appeared to be asleep in the car.

Officers attempted to call the drivers out of the car via public address system, but were not successful. As additional units arrived, a four-man team of Lt. Greg Larkin, Lt. Cliff Evans, Det. Chad Britton and Mosley made entry to the car and gave commands for the men to surrender. Both men were taken out of the car and into custody.
