Starlite Cinema begins Friday

As the temperatures near 90 degrees, Morristown residents are invited to get into their cars and drive in for this year's first Starlite Cinema Friday night.

Starlite Cinema, featuring Disney/PIXAR’s “Frozen 2” will be held beginning at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Frank Lorino Park near the skate park. The broadcast will be delivered through a FM transmitter for the drive-in style movie effect. Cars will be parked with spacing in between for proper distancing and will allow space if patrons would like to bring a chair to sit beside the car, however, a FM radio will still be needed for sound.

Staff and volunteers will be present to assist with parking. Admission is free. For the safety of all, patrons should stay parked until the movie ends. Staff will begin parking cars at 7:30 p.m.

Concessions will be available from Uncle P’s Backyard BBQ and Snowie of Lakeway.
