The parade of defendants through Hamblen County Criminal Court continued Friday with four defendants resolving their cases with guilty pleas.
Alexis Ann Crabill, 20, was sentenced after pleading guilty to two counts of simple possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. A Hamblen County grand jury indicted Crabill for one felony count of meth possession, but she was allowed to plead to a lesser offense. She was fined $1,825.
Sonny J. McDonald Jr., 34, was given a two-year probationary sentence and fined $14,000 after pleading guilty to seven felony counts of delivery of marijuana. Steven Curis Ewing, 65, pleaded guilty to one count of selling marijuana. He was given a one-year probationary sentence and fined $2,000.
Lindsey Anne Coffey, 29, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted child neglect. Criminal Court Judge John F. Dugger Jr. sentenced Coffey to two years supervised probation and fined her $200.
