A visitor from the North Pole is on his way to College Square Mall on Friday.

College Square Mall is excited to kick-off its 31st annual holiday season at 6 p.m., Friday, at the mall entrance next to Ulta Beauty with the arrival of Santa Claus.

The Amazing Magic Show will provide entertainment beginning at 6 p.m. as children eagerly await Santa’s arrival by horse and buggy. After Santa’s arrival, the festivities continue with story time, complimentary refreshments, as well as other children’s activities.

College Square Mall will close again this Thanksgiving to allow employees, retailers and customers a day to gather with friends and family to give thanks. Department stores, the cinema, restaurants and retailers with exterior mall entrances will have the option to open their stores on Thanksgiving. The shopping center will reopen at 6 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29 with amazing doorbusters and exciting giveaways to celebrate the official start of the holiday shopping season.

On Dec. 1, College Square Mall will present its Santa Cares event, where children with special needs can see Santa in a calmer, sensory-friendly environment. The private event will be held from 9-11 a.m. and reservations are required. To register for Santa Cares, visit collegesquaremall.com.

Other holiday activities at College Square Mall include two pet photo nights from 6-8 p.m. on Dec. 3 and Dec. 10, where pet owners can bring their furry friends to take pictures with Santa.
