Millennial Monday

Each Monday the Citizen Tribune shares a photo from the formative years of the Millennial Generation. Born from 1982 to 2001, Millennials mostly come from the prosperous ‘80s and ‘90s. Children don’t join their official generation until they reach the age of 18, so currently, those born in 2000 and 2001 are also millennials. There has been no official designation of a post-Millennial generation. There have been 78,217,881 millennial children born and counting. The formative years for millennials range from 1982 through today.

Millennials are known for optimism and enthusiasm, focus on education, have close relationships with their parents and an uncertain but hopeful outlook for the nation’s future.
