The third and final suspect in the alleged July 21 detention-related kidnapping at Five Point Trailer Park traveled from her home in Murfreesboro early this morning and surrendered at the Pilot Station on West Andrew Johnson Highway, authorities say.
Nyasia Foulks, 19, faces charges of kidnapping, aggravated burglary and assault. Her bond was set at $300,000, $100,000 more than her codefendants, Hamblen County residents Kyera Kay Maxyne Davis, 32, and 39-year-old Melinda D. Evans.
The three defendants allegedly forced their way into the mobile home occupied by 20-year-old Lanesia Huertas and detained her for approximately 20 minutes, according to Detective Phil Hurst with the Morristown Police Department.
Davis once dated Huertas’ father and has children with him, according to Hurst, who says the disagreement erupted over an income tax refund check issued to another person.
