Hamblen duo faces charges in Hawkins

Two Hamblen County residents were cited with a bevy of charges in connection with a vehicle stolen in Morristown found in Hawkins County on Monday.

Jason Scott Angell, 40, of Elwood Street, is charged with evading arrest with a motor vehicle, evading arrest on foot, resisting arrest, possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to provide proof of financial responsibility, reckless endangerment with a motor vehicle, failure to obey traffic control signals, display of registration, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, driving on roadways laned for traffic, aggravated assault on an officer, vandalism of county property and possession of Schedule II drugs. Amanda Nichole Wallen, a homeless resident, was cited for accessory possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of Schedule II drugs.
