The American Vaulting Association and United States Equestrian Federation sanctioned Equestrian Vaulting competition will be held at the newly constructed Three Bulls LLC Equestrian Center in Bulls Gap this Saturday and Sunday, March 13-14.
The center is located at 625 Beech Grove Road in Bulls Gap.
Equestrian Vaulting is an international sport which was introduced in the USA in the 1960s. This exciting sport combines music, dance and gymnastics on horseback.
This weekend, 76 vaulters and their families will be visiting to participate in the first USEF sanctioned competition since 2019.
Many top level vaulters will be arriving from all over the country even from as far away as California, some in hopes of receiving qualifying scores to be eligible for international competition.
As the first public event at Three Bulls, supporters are overwhelmed with the response from not only competitors but also from the community. Renaissance Farm and Three Bulls LLC feel strongly that the equestrian center will be an asset not only to the horse community, but to local businesses as well.
Many of the finishing touches are still underway on the 26,000 square foot indoor arena.
Because this event is USEF sanctioned, spectators must be limited. Organizers are making efforts toward live streaming the entire competition.
