Jefferson County authorities have released the identities of the two individuals who died Wednesday morning in a home fire on Scarlett Road outside of Dandridge.

A brother, Kenneth Roland, who lives in a mobile home behind the burned residence said he was awakened by someone yelling at 6:48 a.m. He got up and saw his brother who was standing in front of the burning home. Michael Foland said their mother was still inside the home, and he ran back into the burning residence. Neither the mother nor the brother came out of the home. The residence was not equipped with smoke detectors.
