Drug bust yields meth, heroin

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office along with the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force, White Pine Police Department and the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday surrounded a residence on South Chuck Pike in the Talbott community of Jefferson County where members of the Special Operations Response Team served a search warrant.

Three female residents of the home were detained and drugs, weapons, and stolen property were recovered.

Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Coffey said deputies seized 166 grams of Methamphetamine, four grams of Heroin, along with marijuana, prescription narcotics, numerous firearms, and $11,584.00 cash. Investigators also recovered stolen property from Jefferson and Cocke Counties.

Those arrested are: Patricia Charlton, 57; Tracy Lawson, 33 and Brittany Allen, 27, charged with Possession of Methamphetamine for Resale, Possession of Heroin, Simple Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
