The Lakeway Area Association of Realtors announced Lisia Amburn, RCE, ePro as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Lakeway Area Association of Realtors, replacing Nancy Zamboni, who retired last month after serving more than 40 years in the position.

Amburn is a Realtor Association Certified Executive, with 16 years’ experience in Realtor Association Management. She previously served as CEO for the Central Hill Country Board of Realtors in Fredericksburg, Texas and the Southwest Virginia Association of Realtors in Abingdon, Virginia.

Amburn completed the Instructor Training Institute and was certified to teach continuing education programs for real estate professionals. She also developed the Southwest Virginia Association of Realtors Real Estate School and helped to cultivate new instructors within the association.

In 2013, Amburn received the Omega Tau Rho Award. The award recognizes exemplary dedication and service, and the high esteem in which recipients are held by fellow members of the Realtor organization.

Lisia and her husband, Ray are excited to be back in the beautiful mountain area of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

“I don’t think people realize how great this area is until you have lived somewhere else,” Lisia said.
