HOLA Lakeway is seeking for community members to join the planning committee for HOLA’s 2023 International Food Festival.
The festival is expected to host 10,000 visitors Aug. 26, 2023 on the Green at the Morristown Farmers’ Market. Members of the diverse Lakeway immigrant community will share their customs and traditions including food, music and dance.
The 2022 Festival featured food from more than 15 countries and performances representing worldwide cultures.
The event which premiered in 2015 to celebrate diversity and unity in the Lakeway region is led by a volunteer committee representing business, government and faith organizations.
“We are currently looking for people to join the 2023 Festival Planning Committee,” said Betsy Hurst, Executive Director of HOLA.
