Walters State Community College invites the public to free showings of “Terror and Faith: The 9/11 Terror Attack” on Wednesday.

Showtimes are 3:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Claiborne County Campus, in the Lyceum of the McCamey Student Services Building on the Morristown Campus at 3:30 p.m. and in the dining hall on the Niswonger Campus at 1 p.m.

This documentary researches the roots of modern “Jihad” and traces possible causes to Middle East political history. The documentary also examines turning points in Osama Bin Laden’s life and his declaration of war against America. Featured in the documentary is Lawrence Wright, who received the Pulitzer Prize for his book, “The Looming Tower.”

The screening is presented as part of the college’s Global Connections, an initiative to prepare students to compete in a global economy. Reservations are not needed.
