West High Trojans return to the fields

Trojan Nation, we have successfully made it through the month of September! Thank you to everyone who participated in the ACT, practice Act, and ASVAB. Also thank you to everyone who attended Fall sports and club events.

Our custodial staff of West High keeps our school clean and sanitized. Make sure to thank them next time you see them.

Seniors may pick up graduation supply packets at the security office between 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. Graduation supplies may be ordered October 13 and 14 during lunch or after school until 6:00 p.m.

Student Council is still looking for sponsors (businesses or individuals) who will donate to help purchase the Trojan Nation t-shirts traditionally given to all students and staff for free each year. We’re still a couple thousand dollars short of our goal, so any help would be greatly appreciated! Sponsorships are available in increments of $25-$500 with varying incentives and advertisements. Contact the Student Council at moweststuco@gmail.com for more information or to create your sponsorship today!

Students, please remember there is support for technology issues. Simply call 423-581-4420 between the hours of 8 A.M. and 8 P.M. Someone will gladly assist you.

Students, be sure to check out the Morristown-Hamblen High School West Library page on Facebook for an option to check out books without ever having to come to the library! Virtual learners can take advantage of this option also.

In counseling news, the Tennessee Promise application deadline is November 1 for seniors. FAFSA applications started October 1 for seniors. Students, please remember that scholarships are updated weekly on social media and on the Senior Google Classroom. Make sure to follow MoWest Counseling on Facebook.
