Parrott-Wood Memorial Library, 3133 W. Old A.J. Hwy., Strawberry Plains, recently announced new operating hours. These hours are designed to suit the needs of the community.
Hours are: Monday and Tuesday: 10:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.;
Wednesday and Thursday: 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.;
Friday: 8 a.m. -1 p.m.; and
Saturday andSunday: closed.
Library Director Donna Phillips and staff are excited about the new hours and are dedicated to providing enrichment programs for all ages.
Below is a list of programs currently offered:
Virtual Adult Literacy Workshops (ACT, HISET, GED) Mondays, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. (pick-up packets at the library to go with these workshops)
Virtual Math, Science, and Grammar Workshops Mondays, 4 – 5 p.m. (1st-12th grade)
Virtual Reading Programs Tuesdays, 4:30 p.m. (parents are encouraged to check-out books to go along with programs)
Virtual Craft Time Wednesdays at 2 p.m.
Virtual Babies-Preschool Programs Fridays, 10 a.m. (parents are encouraged to pick-up craft packets at the library before the programs)
Virtual Computer Classes will resume after Jan. 1.
