Appalachian Ballet Company will present the timeless fairytale classic “Cinderella.”

This romantic and lighthearted three-act ballet tells the triumphant story of a young girl who finds love at a dazzling ball. The awkwardly funny stepsisters along with the glorious elegance of the Fairy Godmother and her Season Fairies help create a spectacular production for the enjoyment of the entire family. “Cinderella” is a ballet composed by Sergei Prokofiev and is one of the most popular and melodious compositions. The production will run approximately one and a half hours.

Cinderella will be danced by Kylie Morton Berry, most recently seen by Knoxville audiences as the Sugarplum Fairy in ABC’s production of “The Nutcracker.” Dancing the role of the Prince is David Ward, a professional free-lance dancer. Ward has partnered Berry in other productions with Appalachian Ballet Company.

“Cinderella” will be presented at The Clayton Center for the Arts 7 p.m., Friday March 13 for one show only. Tickets on sale now are available through or the Clayton Center for the Arts at 865-981-8590.
