Miss Meagan Scribner became the bride of Mr. Adam Thomas on Oct. 7, 2017 at the Chandler Oaks Barn in St. Augustine, Florida. They were married by pastor Timothy Lusk.
Meagan is the daughter of Robert and Debbie Scribner of St. Augustine, Florida. She is a 2009 graduate of Bartram Trail High School in St. John’s, Florida, and a member of the Liberty University class of 2015 with a B.S. in Nursing. She is currently a registered nurse at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
Adam is the son of Alex and Marty Thomas of Morristown. He is a 2009 graduate of Morristown-Hamblen High School East and a 2013 graduate of East Tennessee State University with a B.S. in exercise science. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016 from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, Virginia. He is currently a physical therapist at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, Florida.
The bride was given away by her parents. She wore an ivory, fit-and-flare, lace gown with straps. The mother of the bride wore a full-length purple gown with floral applique. The mother of the groom wore a full-length, steel gray, chiffon lace gown with ruffles, beading and sequins.
Erica Manor of Romney, West Virginia, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Allison Thomas of Johnson City; Mary Lusk of Jacksonville, Florida; Loren Thomas of Ocoee, Florida; Brynn Ward of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; and Carolyn Hughes of Orlando, Florida.
Walker Bullington of San Francisco, California, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jackson Connell of Lynchburg, Virginia; James White of Kingsport; Austin Scribner of Jacksonville, Florida; and Drew and Bryan Scribner, of St. Augustine, Florida.
The reception was held on site. Music for the celebration was provided by Amplify Entertainment.
The newlyweds honeymooned on a Disney Cruise of the Western Caribbean. The couple will reside in Jacksonville.
