Shuck - Lipe Wedding

Mr. and Mrs. Alex Lipe

Ellen Shuck and Alex Lipe were united in holy matrimony July 28, 2018 in a ceremony held at Rogersville First United Methodist Church. The ceremony was performed by Dr. Paul Humphrey, pastor of the church.

The bride is the daughter of James F. and Georgia W. Schuck of Rogersville. She is the granddaughter of Betty B. and the late C. Reece Williams of Morristown, Peggy A. Shuck of Rogersville, and the late William M. Shuck of Newbern, Tennessee.

She is a 2007 graduate of Cherokee High School, a 2011 graduate of East Tennessee State University, and a 2012 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is employed by Greeneville City Schools

The groom is the son of Archie H. and Linda J. Lipe of Rogersville. He is the grandson of Mary C. and the late N.D. Jarvis, and the late Walter E. and Clara H. Lipe, all of Rogersville.

He is a 2004 graduate of Cherokee High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is employed by Eastman Chemical Company.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.

Maids of honor were Susanna Grove, Allison Hammer, Emily Mahoney and Rachel Williams. Matrons of honor were Allie Blackwell, Jenna Hylton, Kodi Mann, Karrianne McPheron, Laura Lipe Pearson and Sarah Winstead.

Flower girls were Miss Ruthie Blackwell and Miss Willa Kay Cope, both of Rogersville. Mr. Sawyer Combs of Rutledge served as ring bearer.

Best men were Ben Bradley, Jordan Combs, Damon Drinnon, Eric Goan, Travis Lipe, Alex Pearson, Shane Suthers and Grant Williams.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Jena Risner, Loren Hamby, Aaron Woods, Julie Alvis, Benny Wilson, Cris Griffin, Travis Lipe and Shane Suthers.

The reception was held at The Stinnet Farm in Rogersville, with music provided by DJ Bigshow.

Following a honeymoon trip to Oahu and Maui, Hawaii, the couple resides in Greeneville.
