Allen and Janie Ottinger, of Parrottsville, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Haley Ottinger, to Eathan Gentry. He is the son of Randy and Cynthia Gentry, of Sevierville.
Haley is a 2008 graduate of Cocke County High School, a 2012 graduate of College of Charleston, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in marine biology; and a 2018 graduate of Carson-Newman University, where she earned a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. She is employed as an educator at Jefferson County High School.
Eathan is a 2011 graduate of Gatlinburg-Pittman High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree at Lincoln Memorial University in biology; and a Master’s of Science in ecology and evolutionary biology from the University of Arkansas. He is a teaching assistant at the University of Arkansas.
Haley and Eathan will host the wedding 3 p.m., Saturday, June 15 at Salem Lutheran Church in Parrottsville.
