Norfolks celebrate silver pastoral anniversary

Ventrus and Melba Norfolk

Elder Ventrus Norfolk will celebrate his 25th year as the under shepherd at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Assembly during the 11 a.m. service, Sunday March 15.

He and his wife Melba have shown their love for the Lord and people since the day they arrived.

They believe in the full gospel and that we as people of God should live as Kingdom builders, reaching out and sharing the Word of God to others. They are workers not only at Mt. Olive but also with in the community.

He is a graduate of Jackson Theological Seminary, has an associate degree in Biblical studies, a bachelor’s degree in theology and recently completed his master’s degree in theology.

Elder and Sister Norfolk share 51 years of marriage, along with four children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We at Mt. Olive are truly thankful and blessed the Lord sent them.
