McDaniel - Coffey

Denise Taylor McDaniel and Austin Coffey were united in marriage in a ceremony Aug. 18 at Arrow Hills Mansion. The Revs. Terry Winstead and Lonnie Dalton officiated the evening ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Harold and Ramona McDaniel of Bean Station. Her grandparents are Thomas and Amelia McDaniel of Alabama, and Harold and Trula Ashley of Knoxville.

The groom is the son of Roger and Rhonda Coffey of Morristown. His grandparents are Andrew and Linda Johnson of Morristown, and Elmer and MaeDean Coffey of Bean Station.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a Galina Signature gown with lace overlay accented with a sequin sash and a cathedral veil. Her bouquet consisted of coral roses with calilys and hydrangeas.

The bride’s maid of honor was Amy Frye; matron of honor was Heather Longmire. Bridesmaids were Kaylee Turner and Danyelle Moore. They wore mint chiffon dresses and coral shoes and carried bouquets of coral and white roses with calilys.

The groom’s best man was Madison Dyer (Fluffy). Groomsmen were Tyler Lynch and Adam Warner. They wore coral shirts with gray pants and vests.

The flower girl was Avery Owens. Samuel Frazier served as ringbearer.

The mother of the bride wore a powder blue tea-length dress. The mother of the groom wore a purple floor-length dress.

Musical selections for the ceremony included “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head” for the groom’s entrance and “God Blessed the Broken Road” for the bride’s processional. The sand ceremony included “From the Ground Up.”

Wedding and reception decorations included mint and coral flower arrangements by Jo Ellen McDaniel.

The reception was held at Arrow Hills with servers Crystal Bowlin, Heather Frazier and Stephanie Whitt.

Following their Mexican cruise honeymoon, the couple resides in Morristown.
