Rose Center in Morristown will open its doors to the community for the annual Christmas open house Friday, Dec. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests can enjoy light refreshments, prepared and served by the Rose Service Guild, and musical performances including strolling minstrels, children’s bell choirs, dancers and gospel singing.
A craft sale will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 in the classroom wing. The rooms will be filled with more than 40 crafters from the East Tennessee area offering handmade gifts and holiday decorations.
The selection will include holiday ornaments, wreaths and centerpieces; crochet, knitting, tatting and quilts; baked goods; jewelry; soaps; original art; pottery; photography; baskets; woodworking; toys and other items for infants and children.
The Rose Center gallery will also be open. Rose Center commemorative tree ornaments depicting the Rose Center are also available to purchase. Supplies are limited.
