18th Century Independence Celebration: Elizabethton, Tenn. Sycamore Shoals State Historic Area. Celebrate the beginning of our nation's independence. The gala will include the arrival, by courier, of the Declaration of Independence, raising of the Continental Colors, refreshments and contests.
