Morristown East High is hosting its annual Advanced Placement Fair in the school cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21.
All students who will be East High Hurricanes during the 2013-2014 school year and their parents are invited to attend. AP courses are equivalent to college courses. Earning college credit is determined by the college of choice and the student’s score on the AP exam.
AP exams are given in May, and scores are received in July. The evening will be an opportunity for parents and students to speak with administrators, counselors and teachers about East High’s AP course offerings and the many benefits these courses provide for students.
