The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra POPS Series continues on Jan. 19 with a special performance featuring two guest musicians/vocalists along with the KSO.

Conducted by KSO Resident Conductor James Fellenbaum, the musical tribute to John Lennon and Paul McCartney will include classics such as “Imagine”, “Yesterday”, “Let It Be”, “Across the Universe”, “Jet”, “Live and Let Die”, “All You Need is Love” and many more.

The concert is sponsored by Regal Entertainment Group and will take place on Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Civic Auditorium.

From the creator of the sensational “Classical Mystery Tour” comes a new tribute to the genius of John Lennon and Paul McCartney, two of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century. They wrote some of the most instantly recognizable songs in the history of popular music, many of which were recorded with in-studio orchestras. The show presents songs penned by the dynamic songwriting duo as well as material from their solo years, all performed exactly as they were originally recorded with original cast members of “Beatlemania.”
