Gnats take down Hornets 4-2 in Boys’ Rec

The Gnats topped the Hornets 4-2 in boys’ minor league action. Carter Mink led the Gnats with a double, along with Braxton Dalton and Cooper Musick’s singles, while Esten Devault led the Hornets with a single. Mink is credited with the win, while Matthew Smith receives the loss.

 The Wasps took down the Spiders 6-3. Adam Webb’s triple and Joey Johnson’s single led the Wasps, while Logan Branham’s single led the Spiders. Naylen Turner is credited with the win, while Cole Henson gets the loss.

 The Locust blanked the Termites 11-0. Noah Moore’s two hits, along with Ray Cline’s single led the Locust. Moore is credited with the win, while Kevin Campbell receives the loss.

 The Grasshoppers defeated the Crickets 14-6. Brayden Ivy’s HR, along with Brock Shultz’s three hits led the Grasshoppers, while Lucas Cowan’s triple led the Crickets. Ivy is credited with the win, while Dylan Brooks gets the loss.

 Girls Minor League

 The Mysticks topped the Rumblers 12-7. Andrea Hoke’s two hits led the Mysticks, while Kelsey Mills, Ava Yount, and Alyssa Marker led the Rumblers with a hit each. Brianna Maness is credited with the win, while Kayleigh Shultz gets the loss.

 The Renegades took down the Sounds 9-5. Alyssa Johnson’s two hits, along with Tapanga Asbury and Sydney Johnson’s hit each led the Renegades, while Madison Hudgens and Jasmine Carr’s one hit each led the Sounds in the loss. Sydney Johnson is credited with the win, while Eden Roper gets the loss.

 The Lightning defeated the Eastons 10-2. Jordan Sigler’s HR led the Lightning, while the Eastons failed to record a hit. Olivia Harris is credited with the win, while Sarah Jones gets the loss.
