Much anticipated Girl Scout cookies have arrived. Morristown girls are out in force delivering cookies and hosting storefront cookie booths through March 24.
Thin Mints, Samoas and six other flavors are back at $3.50 a box.
“When you buy cookies, please look us in the eye and don’t just tell us we’re cute,” Girl Scout Sarah Osucha said. “After all, we’re running a serious business. We want to learn people skills and tell you how you are helping our troop.”
All profits stay within the Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians to benefit local girls.
Large Morristown stores allowing booth sales at various times during the day include Food City stores on the Andrew Johnson Highway, Cumberland Street, Cool Springs Road and Buffalo Trail. The Walmart Supercenter and Lowe’s are also hosting booth sales, as well as the Dollar General on East Andrew Johnson Highway.
To find booth specific booth times and locations, visit IWantCookies.org. The website also allows you to reserve cookies without having to find a booth.
Following a successful 2012 pilot program, some troops will be accepting credit cards at booths.
