Deering leads Dazzlers to close victory

The Dazzlers squeaked by the Crush in Rec League action by the score of 32-31. Katie Deering led the Dazzlers with a game high 18 points, while Brittany Shaw led the Crush with 15 in the loss.

 The Comets topped the Stars 26-22. Alanna McBee and Riley Carpenter each led the Comets with six points, while Stevie Wells led the Stars with a game high 12 points in the loss.

 The Sparks defeated the Angles 22-19. Amanda Turley led the Sparks with 10 points, while Lacey Olds led the Angels with six in the loss.

 The Lady Tarheels took down the Skywalkers 20-19. The Lady Tarheels were led by Tiffany Dover’s 15 points, while Destiny Widener led the Skywalkers with 14 points in the loss.


 The Heat took the sting out of the Yellowjackets and won 55-46. A.J. Newman led the Heat with 17 points, while Jeremy Fultz led the Yellowjackets with a game high 36 points in the loss.

 The Rocks defeated the Knicks 63-40. The Rocks were led by Jay Inman’s 17 points and Will Laws’ 16, while Seth English led the Knicks with 12 points n the loss.

 The Thunder took down the Trailblazers 54-46. Skyler Gunter led the Thunder with a game high 25 points, while Wesley Russell led the Trailblazers with 18 points in the loss.


 The D’Wolves defeated Rich’s 49-20. Lindsey Long scored a game high 22 points, leading the D’Wolves, while Kima Kyle led Rich’s with eight points in the loss.


 Los Manis stopped the Rockets 52-51. Jesus M. Angel led Los Manis with 13 points, while Charles Seals and Jacob Trent each tallied 13 points in the loss for the Rockets.

 By-Lo Markets decimated the Old Dawgs 71-17. Mark Russell led By-Lo Markets’ attack with a game high 23 points and was helped by Trevor Moser’s 18, while Dan McKeon led the Old Dawgs with six in the loss.

 The Pioneers topped Rescue 180 51-42. Brandon Martin led the Pioneers with 17 points and was helped by Spencer Black’s 15, while Joe Horner led Rescue 180 with 16 points in the loss.

 Exit Triple “E” Realty defeated the Dream Team 74-69. Rusty Miller’s game high 33 points and Mike Elkins’ 16 points led the Exit Triple “E” attack, while Nick King’s 20 points and Cole Draughn’s 15 led the Dream Team.

 Pharmacy Express took down Jimmy’s Auto Parts 53-50. Corey Shaw led Pharmacy Express with 14 points, while Matt Craine’s game high 25 points led Jimmy’s Auto Parts in the loss.

 K.T.N. defeated Trelleborg 62-59. Tony Malone scored 32 points and David Durfey tallied 16 points to lead K.T.N., while Brandon Dunn’s 27 points led Trelleborg in the loss.

 Alcoa Howmet fell to Chaos 60-56. Josh Moore led Chaos with a game high 25 points, while Don Moore led Alcoa Howmet with 18 points in the loss.

 International Paper defeated D.T. 55-36. Bradley Purkey led International Paper with a game high 28 points, while Shane Murphy led D.T. with 15 points in the loss.

 Shake and Bake topped 3-Point Play 63-45. Tyler Lawson led Shake and Bake with 18 points and was helped by Jacob Bannow’s 16 points, while Jason Vosburger and Freddie Kammer each recorded 13 points in the loss for 3-Point Play.

 The Ambassadors fell to the Bulldogs 55-44. Pete Clark led the Bulldog attack with a game high 26 points, while Caleb Hotz led the Ambassadors with 14 points in the loss.

 The Goon Squad topped Rogers Petroleum Ballerz 73-61. Kenny Everett recorded a game high 37 points and was helped by Anthony Webber’s 21 points to lead the Goon Squad, while Brett Owens’ 17 points and Ben Williford’s 16 points led Rogers Petroleum Ballerz in the loss.
