2 p.m. BENT CREEK CEMETERY MEMORIAL SERVICE will begin with a covered dish dinner will at 12:30 p.m. The program will start at 2 p.m. with speaker Bill White. In case of rain the service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Whitesburg.

7 p.m. MORRISTOWN-HAMBLEN HUMANE SOCIETY will have its annual membership meeting in the large upstairs courtroom of the Hamblen County Courthouse. All meetings are open to the public.
8 p.m. JAVA JIVE, featuring Laura Ritter, will be held at Rose Center in Morristown. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. with no admission charge. All donations go to the upkeep of the historic Rose Center. Take your favorite adult beverage. Light refreshments and coffee are provided.
