    1. Rose Center Essential Oils Class @ Rose Center
      10:00 am – 11:30 am

Essential Oils: First Aid Kit – Aromatherapy is the therapeutic use of essential oils. Essential oils are defined as the life blood of aromatic plants extracted by steam distillation or expression. These therapeutic grade oils can be relaxing and stimulating, depending on the chemistry of the essential oil used.
The oils can be applied topically to the skin, inhaled or in some cases taken internally.
Many essential oils have anti-bacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. When essential oils are extracted from a plant, the extract can be up to 100 times more potent than the plant itself.
This is a beginners class where you will learn what essential oils are, how they are made, why some oils do not work and how to use them on your body for first aid. Classes are to be held on September 29 at 10 a.m. or October 1 at 6 p.m. Class fee is $15.
