 t Gallery\, in cooperation with ETHS\, is privileged to present a retrospe
 ctive of works by Knoxville artist\, Ted Burnett.  The exhibition and rece
 ption will be held at the Gallery\, 4660 Old Broadway\, from 2:00 pm. unti
 l 7:00 p.m. on Sunday\, October 14\, with a portion of the proceeds from t
 he sale of Burnett’s artwork benefiting ETHS.</p>\n<p>Burnett’s many award
 s include the Hallmark International Award\, and his work was included in 
 numerous museum and gallery exhibits nationwide.</p>\n<p>Burnett excelled 
 in a variety of media and styles in an array of subjects\, including textu
 red florals\, abstract and realistic landscapes\, modern expressionist pai
 ntings in mixed media\, and a series replicating mosaics. Whatever the sty
 le and media\, Ted was a master at capturing his feelings about the subjec
 t\, as well as the image. Bill and Carolyn Mullins of Village Fine Art Gal
 lery are especially honored and grateful to be chosen as the exclusive rep
 resentative of the Burnett Estate collection – works of art that showcase 
 the best of Ted’s creative genius from the 1940s until his untimely death
