DESCRIPTION:<div>\n<p>This year a special night just for families has been
added to the Festival of Trees.</p>\n<p>On Friday evening\, Nov. 16\, 5:00
to 7:00\, NPAC will welcome children and families to see the trees\, wrea
ths and other items available for silent auction.</p>\n<p>NPAC will have t
wo special guests: Kate Agmann\, a performing member of the Jonesborough S
torytellers Guild\, and Santa Claus. Agmann will be on hand to entertain t
he children with stories. She was born and raised in northeast Texas and i
s the mother of two and the grandmother of three.</p>\n<p>After moving to
New York and then Florida\, three hurricanes landed her in Tennessee. Agma
nn lives in a log cabin on the bank of the Nolichucky River.</p>\n<p>At th
e early age of six\, Kate started telling stories when she realized that h
er answers to “What happened at school today?” just weren’t getting the re
sponses she wanted.</p>\n<p>Stories were a way of life for her and as much
a part of family dinners as chicken and dumplings. She used storytelling
to weave together the facets of her life that include everything from teac
hing adults and children in public and private schools to selling art and
antiques.</p>\n<p>Agmann will make a presentation at 5:30 and again at 6:3
 0. Santa Claus will be on hand with treat bags for the children\, and the
Lighthouse Assembly of God Bell Choir will be performing during the evenin
g.</p>\n<p>For more information contact NPAC Box Office at 423-638-1679. B
ox Office hours are 11:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. NPAC is loca
ted at 212 Tusculum Blvd\, adjacent to Greeneville High School.</p>\n<p> <
