DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>WOODBURNING CLASS AT ROSE CENTER:  </strong>Rose Cen
 ter is pleased to offer a new class in woodburning. Michele Howe will be t
 he instructor of a four-hour workshop on Saturday\, February 25\, from 10 
 AM to 2 PM. The fee for the class is $40 and includes all materials. Howe 
 has wood burners for five students to use\; she will take more in the clas
 s\, but they will need to provide their own burner.</p>\n<p>When she was f
 irst learning how to do wood burning\, she was surprised by how fun it was
  right off the bat.You don’t have to be an artist to do it\, Howe says. Du
 ring the workshop students will complete a wood-burned project on an 8 x 1
 0 piece of birch. In the class\, participants will learn how to: choose an
 d prepare their wood surface\, develop or choose a pattern\, transfer the 
 pattern to the wood\, safely use a wood burner to create a design\, add co
 lor to their piece and finish a piece. Pre-registration with payment is re
 quired.</p>\n<p>Rose Center is located at 442 W. First North St. in Morris
