 dt<br />\nand<br />\nceramic sculpture by<br />\nPaul Briggs</h2>\n<p>The 
 UT Downtown Gallery is pleased to present Revealed\, an exhibition of pain
 tings by Pat Badt and ceramic sculptures by Paul Briggs. The paintings and
  sculptures share a similar modesty in size\, creating an approachable and
  intimate relationship between object and viewer. The work is meditative i
 n process. Lines and leaf-forms vary in length\, color\, orientation\, and
  proximity to the next. It is repetitive\, yet unique.</p>\n<p><img src='h

 ='' width='324' height='430' /></p>\n<p><strong>Pat Badt</strong> earned h
 er BA from the University of California at Santa Cruz and her MFA from the
  University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She is currently a Professor 
 of Art at Cedar Crest College in Allentown\, PA. Badt has received many ac
 colades for her work\, including a NEA for painting. She has an extensive 
 exhibition record — showing in New York\, Los Angeles\, Iceland\, and Brus
 sels and has<br />\nparticipated in residencies in Japan\, Italy\, France\
 , and Iceland. In addition to her<br />\npaintings\, Badt makes books and 
 box works as well.</p>\n<p><img src='https://i2.createsend1.com/ei/r/3E/A9

 >\n<p><strong>Paul Briggs</strong> has a BAEd in education and ceramics fr
 om City College in New York\, an\, MSEd in ceramics from Alfred University
  in New York and a Ph.D in Art Education from Penn State. Briggs was on th
 e art education faculty at Mass College of Art and Harvard University\, an
 d served on the College Board as an AP Studio Portfolio reader. The son of
  a minister\, Briggs has also pursued his spiritual calling\, earning a MA
  in in Biblical and Rabbinical Literature from Oral Roberts University. Br
 iggs is the pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Bedford Hills\, New York w
 here he conducts a ministry that is both relevant and contemporary. Commun
 ity efforts still involve him with the arts\, and he exhibits his ceramic 
 sculptures frequently in the New York area.</p>\n<h3 align='left'>EXHIBITI
