DESCRIPTION:<p>Special guest Bill Landry will be available at Marble Spring
 s State Historic Site during John Sevier Days Living History Weekend from 
 1pm to 3pm on Sunday\, September 23 to discuss and sign his book\, <em>App
 alachian Tales & Heartland Adventures</em>.</p>\n<p>The book tells the sto
 ries behind what viewers saw on the long-running\, four-time Emmy award-wi
 nning <em>The Heartland Series</em> that Landry hosted\, narrated\, and co
 -produced.</p>\n<p>Landry has been described by retired Knoxville News Sen
 tinel Senior Writer\, Fred Brown\, as being “East Tennessee’s favorite unc
 le\, the one with all the good stories that have become so familiar and po
 pular.”</p>\n<p>John Sevier Days Living History Weekend will take place al
 l weekend (Saturday\, September 22\, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. & Sunday
 \, September 23\, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m).  Other activities will inc
 lude 18th century demonstrations such as open-hearth cooking\; spinning an
 d weaving\, blacksmithing\, weapons demonstrations\, which will showcase t
 omahawks and period-appropriate firearms\; tours of the historic buildings
 \; 18th century style militia drills\; and regional craft demonstrations.<
 /p>\n<p>Admission $5.00 per car\; Parking is free.</p>\n<div>\n<p> All act
