DESCRIPTION:<p align='center'>The 3<sup>rd</sup> Annual Cyclone Chase Run/W
 alk and Kid’s Fun Run sponsored by the White Pine School PTO will be held 
 on Saturday\, October 20th.  The event is the PTO’s primary fundraiser of 
 the year.</p>\n<p>The 5K (3.1 mile) run will begin at the White Pine Schoo
 l at 9 a.m. The event also includes a Kid’s Fun Run and obstacle course be
 ginning at 10:30 a.m. Runners and walkers alike are encouraged to particip
 ate.</p>\n<p>Cyclone chase runners and walkers may preregister by going to
  ktc.org and downloading the registration form. The 5K preregistration fee
  for adults (ages 12 and up) is $15\, while the fee for kids under age 12 
 is $12. To receive the reduced fee\, the preregistration must be postmarke
 d on or before October 13th. Preregistered participants will also automati
 cally receive a t-shirt.</p>\n<p>Participants can also register for the Cy
 clone Chase or Fun Run at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the event.  Race day ent
 ry fee for the 5K is $20 for adults and $12 for children.  T-shirts will b
 e available while supplies last.  The Kids Fun run and obstacle course ent
 ry fee is $5\, or $12 including a t-shirt.  Each child will receive goody 
 bag at the finish line. All kids and all ages are invited to participate.<
 /p>\n<p>The 5K run is generally flat with some slight hills.  For safety p
 recautions\, the streets of White Pine to be used in this event will be cl
 osed to vehicles for the duration of the run/walk.  Cash prizes will be gi
 ven to the top finishers (male and female overall)\, and awards will be gi
 ven to the top three finishers in each age group.  The age divisions are u
 nder 14\; 15 to 19\; 20 to 24\; 25 to 29\; 30 to 34\; 35 to 39\; 40 to 44\
 ; 45 to 49\; 50 to 54\; 55 to 59\; 60 to 69\; and 70+.</p>\n<p>On race day
  inside the school commons area\, the PTO will also have a silent auction 
 and “old-fashioned” cake walk.</p>\n<p>This event is the PTO’s primary fun
 draiser of the year and strong participation is encouraged to support the 
 children’s education</p>
