DESCRIPTION:<p>BASIC CAKE DECORATING:</p>\n<p>Learn how to decorate your ow
 n cakes and other goodies for birthdays and special events in this fun cla
 ss\, using the Wilton method. Some of what students will learn are the bas
 ic cake\, borders\, and the Wilton rose.</p>\n<p>The class will be offered
  from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays beginning June 7. The class will meet for f
 ive weeks with a fee of $35. Pre-registration is required.</p>\n<p>Lora Ha
 mmond is the instructor for the course. Hammond has been decorating cakes 
 and taking classes since 1974. She is a member of the International Cake E
 xploration Society and takes classes and seminars each year in new styles 
 and techniques. She was honored with the Southeast Territory Wilton Method
  Instructor of the Year award for 1998. Her cakes have been featured in in
 dustry publications including a recent cover feature. She also teaches at 
 industry conventions.</p>\n<p>The first class will include a demonstration
  by Hammond and a discussion of supplies. Rose Center is located at 442 W.
