KSO PRESENTS HAIL BRITANNIA as part of CHAMBER CLASSICS SERIES
\nThe Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will continue its Chamber Classics Series on Jan. 13 with Hail Britannia.
\nMaestro Lucas Richman will conduct fou r pieces of music by British composers Peter Warlock\, Benjamin Britten an d Gustav Holst. The one-time performance will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the Bijou Theatre.
\nMusical selectio ns include Capriol Suite by Warlock\, Serenade for Tenor\, Ho rn and Strings and Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge by Britten and St. Paul’s Suite by Holst. Featured in the program w ill be KSO Principal Horn player Jeffrey Whaley and tenor soloist Cody Bol ing.
\nFrench horn player and teacher Jeffrey Whaley is in his secon d season with the KSO. Whaley\, originally from Seveirville\, is currently on faculty at East Tennessee State University. He holds the principal hor n position in the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra\, Symphony of the Mountains and Asheville Symphony.
\nTenor Cody Boling is a Knoxville native a nd graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Music. He performed m ost recently in the role of “Beadle Bamford” in Clarence Brown Theatre’s f all production of Sweeney Todd. He currently teaches choir at We st Valley Middle School will next pursue a Master’s Degree in Voice.

\nParking is f ree in the State Street Garage on nights & weekends. KSO provides a shuttle to the Bijou theatre eve ry 15 minutes beginning one hour prior to the show (1:30 p.m.) This shuttl e service is provided free of charge to KSO patrons.
