 n will present the annual holiday tradition – The Nutcracker. The producti
 on features live music by the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. The Appalachia
 n Ballet Company will present four public shows December 1st at 8 pm & Dec
 ember 2nd at 2 pm at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium AND December 8th at 2p
 m and 8pm at the Clayton Center for the Arts in Maryville. Two school mati
 nees will be presented at 10 am at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium on Novem
 ber 29th and 30th. Those attending will receive the new K-8 curriculum gui
 de covering common core standards. Teachers may call 982-8463 for reservat
 ions.</p>\n<p>Dancing the role of the Nutcracker Prince will be Aaron Smyt
 h\, formerly with the Royal Ballet\, London\, England. He will be partneri
 ng ballerina Kylie Morton\, the Sugarplum Fairy\, formerly with North Caro
 lina Dance Theatre.</p>\n<p>For over 100 years\, this classic story has pr
 oven to be a favorite\, enchanting audiences of all ages. Come see the mag
 ic with lavish scenery\, glorious tutus\, soldiers\, snowflakes and sugar
