DESCRIPTION:<p>The 23rd Annual Morristown Charity Horse Show will be held O
 ctober 5 – 7th at the Walters State Great Smoky Mountains Expo Center. Sho
 w hours are Friday\, October 5 at 12 p.m. and 6  p.m.\; Saturday\, October
  6 at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. and Sunday\, October 7 at 11 a.m.</p>\n<p>The sho
 w has over 100 classes featuring American Saddlebred\, Hackney Ponies and 
 Standard bred horses. Nearly every state in the Southeast will be represen
 ted.</p>\n<p>Roadster horse classes are always a crowd pleaser. These clas
 ses feature Hackney ponies and Standard bred horses. Many of the Standard 
 bred horses have been retired from the race track\, but still race around 
 the show ring with the driver or rider wearing colorful racing silks.</p>
 \n<p>Babies are always a crowd favorite and the future stars of the show r
 ing. The Tennessee Futurity will feature weanlings (less than one year old
 )\, yearlings and 2 year old shown in hand. The futurity classes are alway
 s one of the first classes on Friday and Saturday nights at 6pm.</p>\n<p>O
 n Saturday night the show starts with a bang\, it is our stick horse class
  where we encourage children who attend to bring their favorite stick hors
 e to show. If a child does not own a stick horse\, the girls in the sewing
  class at Girls Inc. have made several that will be available\, at the sho
 w\, for a small adoption fee.</p>\n<p>There is no admission charge for spe
 ctators and is great entertainment for the whole family. This year’s corpo
 rate sponsors are Alcoa-Howmet\, Bible Insurance Agency\, ColorTech\, Howa
 rd’s Pharmacy\, and Jefferson Federal Bank. The media sponsor is WCRK/WMTN
 .</p>\n<p>All Proceeds from the 2012 show will be donated to Girls Inc.\, 
 a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong\, 
 smart and bold. Girls Inc. serves girls ages 6-18 from Hamblen and surroun
 ding counties with informal educational and recreational activities.</p>\n
