DESCRIPTION:<p>Christmas is fast-approaching and the Town of Jonesborough i
 s gearing up for another festive season.</p>\n<p>On Dec. 8\, The Jonesboro
 ugh Parks and Recreation Department is proud to be hosting the 2012 Jonesb
 orough Christmas Parade.  The theme this year is “Christmas Night of Light
 s.”</p>\n<p>The department is accepting all entries but is especially inte
 rested in:  live Christmas music\, floats lit with Christmas lights\, hors
 es (only those that are well-controlled in large crowd situations) and ant
 ique cars.</p>\n<p>The parade will begin at 6 p.m. on Boone Street and wil
 l progress to Main Street and Historic Downtown\, ending at the Washington
