      9 a.m. LAKEWAY AREA (HAMBLEN COUNTY) SCOTTISH RITE CLUB will meet at Davy Crockett Restaurant for its regular monthly meeting and a dutch treat breakfast. Area Scottish Rite Masons, friends and family are welcome and invited to attend.

    5. Memorial Motorcycle Ride for Annette Gaines @ Bobarosa
      11:30 am – 3:00 pm

      11:30 a.m. MEMORIAL MOTORCYCLE RIDE FOR ANNETTE GAINES (“Mama Hootchie”) will begin at Bobarosa in Del Rio, with stops at Goob’s Place, Amy Joe’s and JJ’s before ending at Audrey’s. Donations of $1 per person will be used to place flowers on Annette’s grave site.  For more information, call 865-599-5385.

      6 p.m. SCRAPPERS QUILT GUILD will meet for their regular scheduled monthly meeting in the Community Room  at the Rose Center, 442 W.     5. Youth Fishing Rodeo @ Panther Creek State Park
      9:00 am – 12:00 pm

      9 a.m. YOUTH FISHING RODEO will be held at Panther Creek State Park boat ramp area. It will be a friendly fishing competition in Cherokee Lake in celebration of east Tennessee free fishing day (no fishing license required).  Although some fishing poles are available for use at the park, participants are encouraged to take their own.  Bait will be provided by the park.  Prizes will be awarded for the largest and most fish caught.  Open to kids between the ages of 8 and 15 and is limited to 20 participants call the park Visitor Center at 423-587-7046 to register beginning May 30.

    7. National Trails Day Hike @ Panther Creek State Park
      10:00 am – 1:00 pm

      10 a.m. NATIONAL TRAILS DAY HIKE will be held at Panther Creek State Park. Meet at the swimming pool parking area then set out for a 4.5-mile hike. This is a moderate to strenuous hike with segment of steep climbing.  Dress appropriately for the weather, wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots and take drinking water.
